4 arrested on gun, meth, marijuana charges in McCracken County

PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) -

Four people were arrested on Wednesday following unrelated searches of homes on South 17 Street and Roy Leed Road in McCracken County, Ky.

Four adults and one child were inside the house on 422 South 17 Street at the time of the search, done by the McCracken County Sheriff's Department Drug Division and officers from the Paducah Police Department, on the morning of Feb. 6.

Illegal items such as marijuana and other drug paraphernalia were found inside the house.

Two adults, Antonio Hunt, 37, of Paducah and Victoria Buckingham, also 37 and from Paducah, were both charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Officials say more charges are expected in that case.

Around 8 p.m. that same day, detectives with the drug division searched another house at 4210 Roy Lee Road in West Paducah, Ky.

Two adults, Justin Parrot, 32, of West Paducah, Ky. and Karen Polivick, 30, also of West Paducah, were found in the house.

After the search, officials found meth, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Also found on the scene were three firearms and multiple rounds of ammunition.

Police say Parrot is a convicted felon stemming from a prior drug charge.

Parrot was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, unlawful distribution of a meth precursor, possession of meth and possession of marijuana.

Polivick was charged with possession of meth, unlawful distribution of a meth precursor, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

It was also learned during the investigation that Parrot and Polivick had been buying Sudafed for manufacturing meth and that Parrot had been hunting multiple times this year and was in possession of the firearms found.

The investigation is ongoing.
