COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -
Richland County Sheriff's deputies are investigating a shooting on Piney Grove Road that left a 16-year-old in critical condition after being shot multiple times.
According to Sheriff's spokesperson Curtis Wilson, deputies responded to the scene at 1320 Piney Grove Road and located the teen with several wounds to the lower body.
The victim was quickly transported to Palmetto Health Richland. The victim is out of surgery and in critical condition.
As for the gunman, investigators are seeking him out.
