LEXINGTON COUNTY, SC (WIS) -
A 65-year-old Gaston man was struck in the head with a glass bottle and nearly robbed after deputies say he attempted to pay for sex.
According to a Lexington County Sheriff's Department incident report, on Friday officers were dispatched to the Kangaroo Express located on Charleston Highway in reference to an assault.
Upon arrival, officers spotted the bloody and grossly intoxicated victim walking on the highway towards the El Cheapo gas station, deputies say.
