Released by the Corsicana Police Department:

At approximately 10:21 am on Saturday, February 2, 2013, a black male, approximately 30-45 years of age, about 6 foot tall, weighing 150-170 pounds, with a goatee, wearing a dark colored, Nike sweat shirt with a hoodie, light blue sweat pants, and yellow work gloves, entered the rear door on the east side of the Chase Bank, 101 N. Beaton, and presented a note demanding money to a teller.  After obtaining an undisclosed amount of currency, the suspect walked out the same door and fled in an unknown direction.

Corsicana police officers immediately responded to the area, but were unable to locate the suspect.

Det. Ronni Phillips has been assigned the investigation and the FBI was informed of the robbery.

Surveillance photos of the robbery suspect are being released to the media in an attempt to identify the suspect.
