The Sherwood Christian basketball team honored Patrick Stanford before their non-region game with Tiftarea Thursday.
Stanford passed the 1000th point mark in a region game last week at Terrell Academy.
The Eagles then beat the Panthers 58-36.
Tiftarea girls beat SCA 49-33.
Sherwood Christian hosts Southwest Georgia on Friday.
