The Darton baseball team ended up going 2-2 to start off their 2013 season at the First Pitch Classic in Panama City. Coming off a 1-1 record after day one, the Cavs beat Central Alabama 3-0 in its first game today. Brandon Goldsmith got the win on the mound. Casey James was 1-2 with a run scored and RBI in the game.
In game two, the Cavs fell to Tallahassee CC for the second time in two days. Darton gave up a grand slam in the third inning in a 6-5 loss. The Cavs will have its home opener against Wallace-Dothan on February 2nd at Cavalier Field.
