The Connecticut Council for Education Reform (CCER) has launched a cutting-edge new website, http://www.ctedreform.org, which streamlines the user experience on CCER’s most widely used communication channel and serves as the digital hub for education reform news.

The Connecticut Council for Education Reform (CCER) has launched a cutting-edge new website, http://www.ctedreform.org, which streamlines the user experience on CCER’s most widely used communication channel and serves as the digital hub for education reform news.

The website’s key features include:

  •     An upgraded and redesigned homepage showcasing news and updates in education reform, as well as easier access to each of the components of CCER’s plan for closing the achievement gap while raising educational achievement for all of students.
  •     A section defining and describing the impact of the state’s achievement gap, as well as an interactive breakdown of the gap in individual districts.
  •     Direct access to the CCER blog, which includes news stories and features relating to education reform in the state and nationwide.

“The new web environment provides a dynamic high-quality online experience for our users and advances the public profile of The Connecticut Council for Education Reform,” said Rae Ann Knopf, Executive Director of CCER.

Developed in partnership with (a)squaredstudio, the new website also includes a page to learn about and register for CCER’s upcoming events, as well as a more personalized staff page that highlights CCER’s dedicated team and Board of Directors..

The new website is part of a larger initiative to provide updates on Connecticut education reform progress and support implementation of new reforms at school and district levels.

“Our goal is to increase our online presence and provide a more dynamic platform for resourcing best practices in the six main areas of CCER’s reform plan. “ said Knopf. “This overhaul and upgrade would not have been possible without the collaboration and support of CCER employees and board members who contributed their time and ideas to help create an innovative site.”
