Rams claim first conference win over Lane, Lady Rams roll to 3rd straight win

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

After clawing and fighting through several games, the Albany St. men finally got its first SIAC win in a 70-67 victory over Lane College Thursday night.  Justin Wilcox was the high scorer.  The Rams were 0-5 in conference play coming into the game. The Dragons were also looking for its first conference win.  ASU improves to 2-10 on the season.

Meanwhile, the Lady Rams won its third straight game beating Lane 68-57.  April Thomas again carried the squad with a game high 25 points. Kedeemya Cooper cleared up the boards with 9 rebounds to go along with her 11 points.  The Lady Rams are now 4-2 in the SIAC and 7-7 overall.

Both ASU teams will play at Benedict on Saturday.
