ALBANY, GA (WALB) -
After an emotional road win at Georgia Highlands, 18th ranked Darton College returned to their home court and took care of business defeating Atlanta Metro 65-40 Wednesday night.
Sophomore Michelle Mitchell had another solid game with 19 points, 8 rebounds, 4 steals and 4 blocked shots.
Darton blocked 12 shots in the game.
Kadayasha Taylor was the only other Lady Cavalier in double figures with 10 points.
Darton (18-2, 10-1) maintains sole possession of first place in the GCAA but faces a tough week next week.
Darton has three road games at Chattahoochee Tech, Central Georgia Tech and Middle Georgia.
The Lady Cavs next home game is January 30 against Andrew.
