WEST COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - The West Columbia Police Department is investigating a bank robbery that occurred at the BB&T bank Tuesday afternoon.
According to Chief Dennis Tyndall, the suspect entered the bank located at 2404 Sunset Blvd. around 1:50 p.m. and presented a note to a teller demanding money. It is unknown at this time if the suspect left on foot or in a vehicle.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 40's, standing 6'to 6'3 and weighing between 220-240 lbs.
