The Tigers, who finished 11-2, are favored 16-1 to take it all, according to Bovada Sportsbook.
The return of Tajh Boyd for his senior season was likely on oddsmakers minds when deciding what might happen this fall.
South Carolina's odds are 28-1.
The 11-2 Gamecocks are losing some noteworthy players, including Marcus Lattimore and D.J. Swearinger, but will see the return of Connor Shaw, Ace Sanders, and Jadeveon Clowney.
Both teams won their respective bowl games in thrilling fashion.
