2013 is not an election year but the San Francisco Giants are campaigning for catcher Buster Posey.
The National League Most Valuable Player is one of seven players in the running to be on the cover of Major League Baseball's 2013 computer game.
Voting for the award started on Monday and the game will release on March 5th. The other players up for the award are Miguel Cabrera, Matt Kemp, Ryan Braun, C.C. Sabathia, Andrew McCutchen and Bryce Harper.
