CLEMSON, SC (WIS) -
Clemson quarterback Tajh Boyd announced Wednesday that he plans to stay with the team for his senior season instead of entering the NFL Draft.
Boyd, a first team AFWA All-American, completed 287 passes on 427 attempts for 3896 yards in 2012. He tallied 36 passing touchdowns, which is an Atlantic Coast Conference record. He also ran for 513 yards, good for second on the team.
The Tigers finished their 11-2 season with a huge Chick-fil-A bowl win over LSU. Boyd threw for 346 yards and two touchdowns in that game.
"It's gonna be fun, I'm so excited about the season," said Boyd. "My main focus is trying to be the best leader that I can."
