Deputies say they're investigating an attempted robbery at Chuck E. Cheese located on Burning Tree Road in Saint Andrews.
The Richland County Sheriff's Department says around 9:30 p.m., Thursday night an unknown black male entered the business and presented a handgun.
Deputies say the suspect grabbed an employee and forced them to the kitchen area where other employees where located.
According to sheriff's deputies, something startled the suspect and he ran out of the business without any money.
Investigators say they're working with witnesses to determine an identity.
No injuries reported.
