It's Dec. 26, and parts of South Carolina are expecting severe weather? Well, that's according to the WIS News 10 First Alert weather team.
According to meteorologist Tim Miller, the same storm system that affected parts of Alabama and Mississippi will go through the state today.
"We'll see a few strong storms but no big severe outbreak," Miller said. "There's a better chance for severe weather in the Pee Dee."
Miller says it will also be windy with or without a storm, with 20 to 25 mph winds coming from the south and gusts up to 40 mph.
The rain is expected to end early Wednesday afternoon.
