A train that blocked access to the Riverbanks Zoo and Botanical Garden has now moved out of the way.

A train stopped on the tracks near the Zoo entrance off Greystone Blvd. and some employees and guests were blocked in the parking lot.

Zoo Spokesperson Susan O'Cain says the train blocked the main entrance to the zoo. Visitors and guests are leaving through a back exit.

The zoo's Lights Before Christmas is closed Thursday night.

CSX said the train had minor mechanical issues while en route from Spartanburg to Cayce.  It had three locomotives and 110 cars.  The train was stopped on the tracks for about an hour.
