The national championship dreams are over for the #1 Darton College soccer team.
Tyler Junior College scores two early goals and beats Darton 4-1 in the first NJCAA semifinal.
The 4th seeded Apaches scored in the 5th minute when Allen Trout scored on a header off a corner kick.
Tyler added a second goal on a mistake by Darton keeper Carlos Catano failed to clear a ball in the box and Joseph Pratt made him pay with the goal.
Tyler added a third goal early in the second half from Alan Rovira before Darton got on the board with Troy Tucker scoring on a free kick.
Allen Trout closed the scoring with his second goal of the match.
Tyler JC will play in the national championship match at 2:00 p.m. at the Cavalier Soccer Complex.
