EASLEY, S.C. (AP) - Crews have again searched in the Upstate for a Charleston-area mother missing since March.
Investigators turned up no new clues Saturday in their search near Easley for Gayle McCaffrey. The 36-year-old mother from Charleston County was last seen March 17.
McCaffrey's husband reported her missing the next day. Deputies say Bob McCaffrey told them he argued with his wife, drove to Easley to clear his head, then headed right back to Charleston, where he discovered her missing.
Charleston County authorities have said McCaffrey's husband is a suspect in her disappearance.
Saturday's search involved officers from Charleston County, Pickens County and the CUE Center for Missing Persons. Some of the property searched belongs to Bob McCaffrey's relatives.
