SUMMERVILLE, SC (WCSC) -

The Dorchester County Sheriff's Office has arrested three teenagers for a shooting that left a man shot in the head and the arm in Summerville.

Investigators arrested 17-year-old Rashawn Brown of Summerville, 18-year-old James Joseph Young III of Ruffin and 19-year-old Zaquann Hampton of Summerville.

According the sheriff's office, on Tuesday, investigators developed a lead to the whereabouts of the suspects involved in an Oct. 28 shooting that happened off of Wyatt Lane in Summerville.

Authorities say around 11 p.m., while investigators were attempting to locate the suspects, a call was received stating that the suspects were going to turn themselves in. All three were subsequently locked up at the Dorchester County Detention Center.

On Oct. 28, deputies responded to a home on Linda Lane just after 8 p.m. to find a man bleeding from the left side of his head and from his right arm inside a woman's home.

The woman told deputies she was at her friend's home when they answered a knock at the door to find the man holding a shirt to his head, trying to control bleeding. The victim told her he was at a friend's house around the corner, on Wyatt Lane, when he was shot.

The man told deputies he walked into the mobile home on Wyatt Lane and an 18-year-old and 17-year-old man, along with an unknown man, started shooting at him.

The victim ran out of that home and first ran to Shirley Court before going on to Linda Lane, where the woman let him inside and called authorities.

Deputies said the 20-year-old victim was taken to Medical University of South Carolina for treatment.
