COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -

Two men were arrested early Tuesday morning after deputies from the Richland County Sheriff's Department say they found a stolen ATM in their possession.

Deputies say 28-year-old Jamale Pratt and 39-year-old Marvin Henderson have been charged with burglary, grand larceny, and failure to stop for blue lights and sirens.

Officials say the pair broke into a business at 10925 Two Notch Road, stole the ATM, and began to transport it away from the scene using a stole white box truck.

Deputies were called to the scene after a concerned citizen alerted law enforcement about some suspicious activity at the business. Law enforcement agents spotted the box truck at the scene and tried to pull it over, but the duo got on to Interstate 20.

The pair was pursued until Bluff Road and Interstate 77, where they hopped out of the truck and fled on foot. They were caught a short time later and sent to the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.

Calling them "career criminals", Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott says the pair both have lengthy criminal records over the past few years.
