RICHLAND COUNTY, SC (WIS) -
Deputies are asking for the community's assistance in identifying the men who attacked a juvenile on Monday.
According to the Richland County Sheriff's Department, the incident happened just before 7 p.m. near the intersection of North Pines Road and Penni Circle.
Deputies said a juvenile was walking with a friend when they were approached by 5-6 African American males. Words were exchanged and, according to investigators, the men attacked one of the juveniles.
After the attack, the men took the victim's $500 iPhone.
The juvenile was treated for cuts and bruises.
Investigators have not released a description of the suspects.
