COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -
On his call-in show on Thursday night, South Carolina head football coach Steve Spurrier said injured running back Marcus Lattimore will probably suit up for the game, but still will not start.
Lattimore has been dealing with a bruised hip since the LSU game last weekend. He has not practiced at all this week trying to nurse the injury.
Spurrier says Lattimore did jog around the field during practice on Thursday. Spurrier says the junior running back may play depending on how he looks during pregame warmups.
Meanwhile, Spurrier says backup Kenny Miles will start in Lattimore's place. So far this year, Miles has compiled 100 yards and one touchdown.
