COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -

A previously missing 16-year-old Richland Northeast High School student who officials believed might have been in danger has returned home.

Richland County Sheriff's Department investigators say Anafelicia Miranda made her way back to Columbia late Sunday night after seeing herself in media reports. A friend of hers transported "Ana" home from Atlanta.

Before her return, she was last seen at her high school on Friday, Sept. 28. Authorities say she told family members that she wanted to leave with a male friend of hers, but that she would be back by Oct. 1.

Investigators believed Anafelicia left with 25-year-old Arturo Pereira Bravo, AKA Linch Bravo Pereina. Bravo is described as 5' 10" and weighing 180 pounds.

Investigators have learned Ana went willingly and no charges will be filed.

The sheriff's department will continue to investigate.
