COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -
The Gamecocks football team opens conference competition next season in Georgia on September 7th.
The Southeastern Conference announced the 2013 schedule Thursday.
After opening the SEC season on the road against Georgia, USC hosts Vanderbilt the following Saturday. The Gamecocks host Kentucky on October 5th, then they go on the road for three straight weeks, traveling to Arkansas, Tennessee and Missouri.
South Carolina hosts Mississippi St. on Saturday, November 2nd. Then on November 16th, Florida visits USC.
The schedule could change based on television assignments.
