Why should voters choose you in this election?

Voters should choose me in this election because I feel that I am the most qualified to be "A Voice for Our Children, Parents and Quality Public Education" in Sumter School District.  A voice needs to be heard for our children with qualities such as experience, leadership and vision…. All of Which I Proudly Possess.

As an educator, I will bring to the Board a different perspective of expertise and experience that will be an added asset to the Board, the District and most importantly, to the children of our community.  If we want our children to succeed and receive a quality education, the approach of "Less ME - More WE," has to be implemented.

My experience, leadership ability and vision have provided me a proven record that is undeniable in my bid to be elected to Sumter School Board.  This record is coupled with and developed in three educational principles that will facilitate and help ensure quality education for Sumter County residents.  These core principles are Vision, Lifelong Residency, and Dedicated Commitment of serving all children to make Sumter School District a fundamentally sound educational system in Sumter County.

I am a lifelong resident and product of public education in Sumter School District with 30+ years of hands-on educational experience at the local, state and national levels.  I am a former a student, parent, classroom teacher, coordinator, administrator, adjunct professor, educational consultant and retired educator, of the Sumter School District.

With the help of my constituents, I can build a sustainable bridge of achievement and success, as well as foster a strong, sound future in Sumter School District.
