Republican candidate for S.C. House District 39.
Occupation: Small Business Owner - Attorney
Education: Batesburg-Leesville High, BS in Accounting – Clemson University; JD from USC-Law
Experience in Political or Related Positions: I have been elected and served without pay or benefits on the School Board of Trustees in Lexington School District Three. I was chairman of the Board for four terms (four years).
Why should voters choose you in this election?
My father raised me with the values of hard work, giving back to the community, the importance of family, and faith in God. For the past 16 years I have served the public on the school board standing up for conservative values. I have the experience and courage to successfully promote new jobs and education, preserve our rural and small town community values and traditions, and protect our families and freedoms. Businesses (BIPEC) have endorsed me because as a small business owner I understand the needs of job creators. Teachers (SCEA) have endorsed me because I have the experience to improve education. Law Enforcement leaders have endorsed me because as a former prosecutor I understand is needed to keep our families safe. The NRA gave me an "A" for my stances on protecting our 2nd Amendment rights. Finally, community and statewide leaders have endorsed me because the know I have the courage to stand up for our conservative values just like I did when liberal activist groups like the ACLU tried and failed to stop student led prayers before football games.
