Why should voters choose you in this election?

It is my desire to further develop my vision for a public education system that stimulates community growth, gives parents choices, empowers teachers through technology and innovation, inspires children to succeed, and encourages character values, within a safe learning environment, in a fiscally conservative manner.

Over the past four years, I have demonstrated my strengths of vision, consistency, and pragmatism as our Board has faced a looming state education funding crisis and fiscal cliff as a result of the "Great Recession." In our District, with my help, we have successfully navigated through the most drastic state budget cuts in history while maintaining the balance between quality education and budget constraints.

My experience in engineering and construction make me uniquely qualified to continue to work on our building program which is extremely important given the age of our facilities. If re-elected I will continue to work to keep schools safe, promote parity among all schools, improve test scores, demonstrate fiscal responsibility, establish new business partnerships, maintain strong discipline policies, improve technology, give parents choices for their children's education, spur economic development and elevate pride in our community schools.
