RICHLAND COUNTY, SC (WIS) -

Richland County Sheriff's deputies are asking for help identifying a man wanted for firing a shotgun at an ATM during an attempted theft.

Deputies were called to the AllSouth bank in the 3300 block of Broad River Rd. at about 3 a.m. October 4th for an unknown explosion.

Investigators determined someone fired a shotgun at the ATM in attempt to get inside the machine. Deputies say the attempt to open the machine was not successful.

The Richland County Sheriff's department released surveillance photos of the suspect.  If you recognize the man, call Crimestoppers at 1-888-Crime-SC.
