COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - Richland County Sheriff's deputies have arrested a man in connection with a shootout at a soccer complex in northeast Richland County. Deputies continue to search for others involved.

Working on leads from witnesses, deputies arrested 19-year-old Martin Quezeda Friday afternoon on Flintlake Rd.  He is charged with two counts of attempted murder and two counts of pointing and presenting a weapon.

The incident happened shortly before 6:30 Tuesday evening at the Polo Road park soccer complex, according to Curtis Wilson with the Richland County Sheriff's Department.

Wilson says the incident was between two groups of Hispanic males. He says they were in separate cars and no injuries were reported.

Deputies say Quezeda was among a group of about a dozen men involved in an argument.

Deputies said the vehicles are described as possibly a tan Dodge Durango SUV and a dark colored Chevrolet Blazer or Jimmy SUV with the body of the vehicle low to the ground with the rear window shot out.

In addition, investigators are also looking for the suspects who were driving a Silver Honda and another dark in color Chevrolet Blazer or Jimmy.

Investigators say several witnesses took photos of the suspects and some of their vehicles as they fled the area.

If you have any information about this shooting you are asked to call Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIMESC.
