I have served on Lexington County Council for nine years, and I have never missed a council meeting. I am truly dedicated and loyal to my constituents as well as Lexington County as a whole. I work hard for the people in my district and am always willing to help them any way I can. I have never failed to return a phone call or e-mail, because I firmly believe in constituent communication. I am very honest and trustworthy. I do not tell people what they want to hear just to gain votes. I stayed true to my platform when I ran for office in 2003, which consisted of constructing a library in South Congaree and a recreational park in Red Bank. The most important thing and why I think voters should choose me is I have an open door policy and I listen to my constituents' needs and concerns. If I am not able to help them, I point them in the right direction.
