Officials with the Georgia Bulldogs' football team say wide receiver Michael Bennett is out for the South Carolina game and the rest of the season with a torn knee ligament.
According to the University of Georgia, Bennett tore his ACL on Tuesday.
Bennett has been one of quarterback Aaron Murray's go-to receivers for the season thus far with four touchdown catches and 345 yards.
Now, the No. 5 Bulldogs head to Williams-Brice Stadium without one of their most potent playmakers on offense to face the No. 6 Gamecocks.
Game time is set for 7 p.m. on Saturday.
