COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -

Law enforcement officers are usually in the same corner, but Saturday night, a Lexington County Sheriff's deputy took on a Columbia Police Officer.

Deputy Patrick Hanko went three rounds in the boxing ring with Columbia Police officer Emanuel Dejesus.

The bout was part of Metro Madness at the Township Auditorium.

Bragging rights belong to Dejesus, who won the fight.

But the match pays off for both departments. They shared the proceeds and each department gets two bulletproof vests.
