Once missing 74-year-old found safe and sound

CLARENDON COUNTY, SC (WIS) -

After searching late into the night, the Clarendon County Sheriff's Department has found a 74-year-old woman who went missing Tuesday night.

According to Sheriff Randy Garrett, Louella McCray was found safe around 1:45 a.m.

The Sheriff says McCray, who suffers from Alzheimer's Disease, went missing around 8:45 p.m. after walking out of her daughter's home. 

Deputies set up a perimeter on Highway 261 and Interstate 95 near the Safe Federal Credit Union just outside the Manning city limits.

The State Law Enforcement Division joined in the search with its search helicopter and bloodhounds were also used to try to locate the woman.
