COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -
A man was taken to the hospital Saturday afternoon after police say he was shot at a Columbia apartment complex.
Columbia police were called to the Rutledge Forest Apartments on Falling Springs Rd. near Sunset Dr. at about 2:30. Saturday afternoon.
After preliminary investigation, police say the man was in a group with several others when he was shot by someone driving by in a vehicle.
Police say he was struck by bullets several times. Investigators believe the man knocked on an apartment door for help before he collapsed.
The victim was taken to the hospital where his name and condition have not been released.
