COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - Ray Tanner has shared his plans with South Carolina trustees to continue the Gamecocks' athletic success.

Tanner made his first presentation to the school's governing body as the new athletic director, a position he took over in August after 16 seasons as South Carolina's baseball coach.

Tanner outlined the department's successes last year, including the recently opened $30 million Farmer's Market tailgate area and the $6.5 million video board at Williams-Brice Stadium.

Tanner said his goals were to keep a $200 million facilities upgrade started by predecessor Eric Hyman on track. Tanner hoped to increase the school's athletic fundraising, which was a record $15.3 million last season.

Under Tanner, South Carolina's baseball team won the College World Series in 2010 and 2011.
