COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -
Charges have been filed against a man in connection with an early morning shooting on Leesburg Road, according to the Richland County Sheriff's Department.
Sheriff's Department spokesman Curtis Wilson says 38-year-old David Lambert, Jr. has been charged with murder.
Wilson says Lambert and an unidentified 32-year-old man were drinking when the pair began to argue about a female acquaintance around 2:00 a.m. at a mobile home on Leesburg Road.
Investigators say Lambert pulled out a weapon and shot the victim multiple times in the upper body.
The victim was taken to Palmetto Health Richland where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
