CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - The son of Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney made stops in Charlotte and Gastonia Saturday.

Craig Romney is hoping to score points with swing voters and he's targeting the Latino community.

He says his father is the man for the job and plans to help him fill the seat.

"My dad's the man when it comes to the economy, he spent his career in the private sector, he knows how to create jobs and get the economy back on track, that's resonated with all groups I've spoken too," said Craig Romney.

Craig Romney knocked on doors and talked with neighbors in the Providence area and held a community forum with Latino voters at Morrison Library in Southpark.

He heads  to Nevada, Colorado, Florida and New Mexico next week.
