Police are looking for two men who smashed a Walmart display case and walked away with two iPads.

The theft happened at the Walmart on East Church Street in Batesburg-Leesville on December 16, 2011.

Police said two black males entered the store, acquired a hammer, and smashed the iPad display case. The suspects then removed two iPads valued at approximately $829.00 each and departed the parking in a silver in color sedan.

Authorities said even though it's nine months after the crime, they hope that somebody recognizes the men and turns them in.

Typically, in the months leading up to the holiday shopping season, thefts of this nature increase, authorities said.

If you know anything about this incident or the subjects in the surveillance photo, you are urged to call Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
