Four people have been arrested for holding a mother and her child captive for years in Ashland.
According to the charges, the suspects used beatings, threats of death and threats of attacks from pit bulls and large snakes to hold a woman and her child against their will for two years.More >>
COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -
Columbia Police Department officials say a "suspicious package" located inside the Walmart on Harbison Boulevard was just a back pack with an empty box inside.
Authorities with the Bomb Squad were called to the scene around 9:20 p.m. to investigate the scene.
Officials x-rayed the back pack and opened it by hand to discover the empty box.
As a precaution, folks inside the store were promptly evacuated. No one was injured.
