LEXINGTON COUNTY, SC (WIS) -
Friday Lexington County Sheriff's Deputies released a video of a man wan wanted for trying to break into a pawn shop.
A deputy was called to the Y B Broke Gold & Pawn on Augusta Road Saturday morning for a property check. Upon arriving, the deputy found water shooting out of the front of the building and a front wall crumpled.
The deputy noticed a window had been broken and found other evidence someone had tried to break in.
Surveillance video from the business shows a man driving his Ford Ranger pickup into the building. After the truck bumped the building, the man got out and attempted to pry open the door.
Deputies say the man also tried to get into the building through several windows with no success.
The man is described as white, with a stocky build, shaved head and beard with no mustache. Investigators say he also had tattoos on his forearms and possibly on his left calf.
He was driving a gray or white Ford Ranger pickup that may have front and rear damage. Investigators say there was a paper tag on the truck where the license plate should be.
