KERSHAW COUNTY, SC (WIS) -

A Lugoff man found out his fate as he was sentenced to 25 years for sexual assault.

Solicitor Dan Johnson says 36-year-old Michael Browning pled guilty to criminal sexual conduct with a minor in the first degree before Judge Casey Manning at the Kershaw County Courthouse Wednesday.

The victims reported the abuse to Kelly Browning which began in 2007 and continued until May of this year.

According to Johnson, Browning's wife, Kelly, was also charged with child neglect.

Johnson says Kelly confronted her husband, who confessed, and he was placed in Three Rivers for psychiatric issues, but the police were never notified.

The sexual assaults continued upon Browning's release from Three Rivers up until May of this year, when Kershaw County deputies were at the home for an unrelated issue, and the two sisters reported the abuse, according to Johnson.
