LEXINGTON COUNTY, SC (WIS) -
The Lexington County Coroner has identified two people killed in a crash Saturday night.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol reports at about 9:50 p.m. Saturday, a vehicle headed west on Neely Wingard Rd. near Pelion failed to stop at the stop sign at Fairview Rd. The vehicle crashed into a truck on Fairview Rd.
Coroner Harry Harman says the driver of the first vehicle, 38-year-old Donald Burton of Batesburg-Leesville died at the scene. A passenger, 17-year-old Tyler Brown of Gilbert was taken to Palmetto Health Richland Hospital where he died.
Another passenger taken to Palmetto Health Richland Hospital was treated and released.
