Friends and family of a West Columbia man killed in Georgia gathered at his former high school for a memorial service Sunday night.
Police in Thomasville, GA say 21-year-old Hassan Williams was killed during a carjacking and robbery on July17th. He had just been honorably discharged from the Army.
Four people are charged in connection with Williams' murder. Williams' father told WIS that one of the suspects served with his son in the Army.
Williams' friends and family organized a memorial service Sunday night at Brookland-Cayce High School.
