COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - The City of Columbia Water Works has lifted a boil water advisory in the Briarcliffe subdivision.
Customers at 109 Briarcliffe East, Viewmont Road and Ringwood Lane were affected because of a water main break.
Those customers no longer need to boil their water prior to drinking or cooking. City officials said after an intense flushing of the distribution system, bacteriological samples were collected and analyzed. The results show the system is safe to use.
