COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -
At the Columbiana Grande Theater, movie goers react to the shooting rampage that left twelve people dead inside a Colorado theater.
"It's a little scary," said Daniel Hance. "I'll probably watch my back when I'm in the theater."
The manager at Columbiana Grande said the theater received 50 calls Friday from people concerned about their safety inside.
"I was very nervous." said Allison Lloyd. "But at the same time, I can't stay locked up in the house."
"You'd think this type of entertainment venue is a safe and secure place," said Falecia Dixon. "It does change a lot, and I think it will heighten security in many ways.
Right now law enforcement agencies say they're being more cautious. Columbia Police, Richland County Sheriff's deputies and Sumter Police say they don't plan to add extra security.
They say throughout the week, officers regularly patrol the theater areas inside and out.
Movie giant AMC Theatres says it will no longer allow people to wear costumes or face-covering masks because of the tragedy in Colorado.
People we spoke to say they're worried but they won't let it ruin their movie experience.
"Because that person wins," said Emmett Nolan. "That's what they want. I want to enjoy my Friday."
