Authorities locate missing 2-year-old Summerville girl in NC

The Summerville Police Department says a missing 2-year-old girl has been found in Lane, NC in Haywood County.

Investigators say Haley Renae Briggs was found safe and Haley's mother, 19-year-old Megan Marie Briggs, will be charged in the incident.  

According to Summerville police, Haley was abducted from her grandparent's home at 122 High Bridge Road at 4 a.m. Thursday. Police say Megan Marie Briggs broke into her adoptive parent's home and took the child.

Police say Megan stole a pair of car keys from the house as well, using the car to get away.

Officials say Megan was reportedly driving a gold 2003 Buick Century with South Carolina tag EQG113.
