2 teens arrested in carjacking

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -

Columbia Police say they have arrested two teens in connection with a carjacking last week.

Police charged 19-year-old Tony Johnson, Jr. with carjacking, armed robbery and criminal conspiracy.

18-year-old Shyiem Brown was previously arrested on the same charges. Both are held at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.

Johnson and Brown are accused of pointing a handgun at a man who was sitting in a car in the 2900 block of West Beltline Blvd. on July 1, forcing him from the vehicle and stealing the vehicle and cash.

Police say the victim was not seriously injured.
