COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -

The Ascot Estates home where two people were shot and killed three months ago has been put up for sale, but what happened inside its walls on that grisly Friday the 13th continues to be a mystery to most.

12 Tackeria Court is on the market for $749,000, but friends and family of Tammy Parker and Bryan Capnerhurst likely wouldn't be able to put a price on knowing why their loved ones are dead.

That's a question many in the Midlands are asking, but Richland County Sheriff's Department investigators remain tight-lipped on what the evidence is telling them.

The man who did walk out of the house alive on April 13 has provided the public his version of the slayings through his lawyer.

Tammy Parker's husband Brett has been questioned by authorities, but no charges have been filed against him or anybody else.

In late April, attorney Dave Fedor told WIS that Brett shot Bryan Capnerhurst in self-defense after the family-friend shot and killed Tammy. Brett then called 911 and was waiting in the driveway when emergency crews got to the scene.

Fedor said he believes Richland County will eventually charge Brett with homicide, but calls what Brett did "a complete case of self-defense." Fedor says Brett Parker is not guilty of "one iota" of criminal behavior in the shooting incident.

Fedor has in the past confirmed that his client and Capnerhurst had been involved in a sports betting operation and that Brett Parker owed money to Capnerhurst.

On Friday Fedor told WIS he hasn't heard "one word" about the status of the investigation from the sheriff's department or solicitor's office.

Fedor says Brett Parker and the couple's children have remained in the Columbia area and are staying with his parents.

Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott has only said that his deputies are "aggressively investigating" the incident.

Lott says he is aware of the many rumors, theories and innuendos that have been circulating in the community. He says none of those he's seen has gotten the sequence of events correct. He says there's no need for him to say anything publicly until the facts are established in what he calls a "very complicated who-done-it."

Citing investigatory reasons, Richland County investigators have only released one page of the multiple-page incident report taken after the crime. It is unclear what the rest of the report reveals. Deputies have also refused to release the 911 tapes from that day.

According to an online listing, the single-family home has 5 beds, 6 baths, and approximately 6,875 square feet.

Brett and Tammy Parker purchased the home in September, 2009 for $760,000.

The house, Fedor says, contains "many bad memories" for the family.
