COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -
WIS has teamed up with Corner Pantry to give you gas for $2.10.
On Friday, drivers were lined up at the Corner Pantry on Assembly Street to take advantage of a cheap gas promotion.
Florence Butler loves the dollar amount on her receipt.
"This is a great savings," said Butler. "It's only $32.66, it's usually $70 to fill up, and it was worth every sweat."
She and dozens waited for the noon promotion Friday. The line started on College Street and wrapped onto Main.
The discount saved Wesley Thomas, who commutes to Aiken for work, $20.
"Blessing from God," said Thomas. "I wish it could be like this every day throughout the year, with less people."
Unfortunately, AAA says gas prices are expected to go up, so consumers are milking this deal now.
If you missed the deal Friday, don't worry because from July 2 to July 27, WIS will announce a special location during the 6 a.m. hour of WIS News 10 Sunrise where you can get gas for $2.10 a gallon for regular between the hours of 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.
