-Born in the USA Run, 7:30 a.m., corner of Trenholm Rd. and Forest Dr., Forest Acres, register onsite or at Strictly Running.
-Lexington County Peach Festival, Gilbert Community Park, Rikard Circle, Gilbert, 9:30 a.m. Parade, Fireworks 10 p.m.
-Jammin' July 4th, Dillon Park, Sumter, 5 - 11 p.m., fireworks at 9:30
-Freedom Festival, Village at Sand Hill, Ronnie McDowell Concert at 7 p.m., fireworks at 9 p.m.
-4th of July Celebration, Newberry High School, 3113 Main St., Newberry, 6 p.m., 8 p.m. skydiving exhibition, 9 p.m. fireworks
-Fundraiser for fallen heroes and July 4th party, Lexington VFW, Cedarcrest Drive, Lexington, 7 p.m., 9:30 p.m. Fireworks (Donations for fallen soldiers can be dropped off after 4 p.m.)
-A Star Spangled Symphonic Salute, Saluda Shoals Park, 7 p.m., 5605 Bush River Rd, Columbia
-Columbia Blowfish, 7:05 p.m. fireworks after the game. Capital City Stadium, Assembly St. Columbia
-Fort Jackson's Salute to the Nation Celebration, 8 p.m., Hilton Field, Fort Jackson. Gates open at 4 p.m.
-America Classic Drive-In Movie, Columbia Speedway, 2001 Charleston Highway, Cayce, film start at 8:50 p.m.
